Former Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena chief, Uddhav Thackeray has been admitted to the Reliance Hospital in Mumbai. The news have left many in worry about the former CM’s health, as he is undergoing tests to identify blockages in his heart and arteries. According to reports, Mr Thackeray was not feeling well since Dussehra.
Uddhav Thackeray is hospitalised and undergoing tests
For the unversed, Uddhav Thackeray has a history of angioplasty and is currently undergoing tests to identify blockages in his heart. It is also reported that after the diagnosis, he might undergo angiography.
Uddhav Thackeray was unwell when he participated in the Dusshera rally held on October 12, 2024. The Shiv Sena chief had given a fiery speech while attacking the Mahauti government and centre.
Uddhav Thackeray underwent angiography in 2016
It was in the year 2016, when Mr Thackeray underwent angiography at the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. It was a follow-up procedure of angioplasty which he had on July 20, 2012. The doctors had put 8 stents to remove the multiple blockages in the three main arteries in his heart.

He was the one, who founded Shiv Sena, and wanted to bring a change in Maharasthra. He devoted his life for the welfare of the state. After the death of Balasaheb Thackeray, his son Uddhav Thackeray led the party and was elected as the chief of Shiv Sena in 2012.
