Baba Siddique Murder Case: Mumbai Police Arrest Fourth Accused, Shubham Lonkar, in Pune
The Lawrence Bishnoi Gang recently claimed responsibility for the murder of Baba Siddique, who was killed near his son Zeeshan’s office in Bandra East on October 12. A Facebook post by a Bishnoi associate confirmed the gang’s involvement, stating, “If anyone harms any of our brothers, we will surely retaliate.” In response, a manhunt was launched for Shubham Lonkar, the individual responsible for the gang’s Facebook message. On October 14, the Mumbai Crime Branch arrested Shubham Lonkar in Pune. The Crime Branch has identified six suspects in connection with Siddique’s murder, with Dharmaraj Kashyap, Gurmail Singh, and Pravin Lonkar already in custody. However, Shubham Lonkar, Shiv Kumar Gautam, and Mohammad Zeeshan Akhtar remain at large, prompting police to initiate a massive manhunt for the absconding suspects.
