Shalini Passi recalls how a group of girls gatecrashed her friend’s wedding to fix her marriage with Sanjay Passi
Shalini Passi got married at the age of 20, and she told the NOD magazine that her parents wanted to get her married at an early age, and she had one condition, which was that she wanted someone who wouldn’t smoke, drink and gamble. Well, in a recent interview with the Brut, Shalini Passi shared how she met her husband, Sanjay Passi.
In the interview, Shalini shared that she once attended one of her friend’s sister’s wedding, and a couple of girls gatecrashed to see her. Later, those girls approached her, asking if she was married and if her parents would also come to the wedding. Shalini shared that she told those girls that her parents would attend the wedding in the evening, and they left. The philanthropist added that those girls reached out to Sanjay’s parents and told them, ‘We have found the perfect girl for Sanjay bhaiya’.
Going further in the interview, Shalini Passi revealed that Sanjay Passi’s parents met them in the evening, and it was fixed. She mentioned that although it was an arranged marriage, her husband means the universe to her. She also repeated the fact that she didn’t want someone who would indulge in smoking, drinking, and gambling, as she didn’t do the same and wanted to spend her life with someone who would share the same values as hers.
