As Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya tied the knot for the second time with Sobhita Dhulipala, several eyes were on Sam for her reaction. The actress has maintained a dignified silence on the subject. Instead, choosing to keep herself busy with events and work commitments. Most recently, Samantha was spotted grooving to Michael Buble’s I’m Feeling Good at an event.
Samantha was seen swaying to the popular track alongside her friend and fashion designer, Kresha Bajaj. The actress looked mesmerising in a stunning black gown with a plunging back for the occasion. Kresha originally shared the video on her Instagram story with a sweet note that read, “Always in sync.” She had also tagged Samantha, who then reshared the story and wrote on it:
“The most beautiful evening it was.”

Amid Naga Chaitanya’s second wedding, Samantha’s fans aren’t the only ones coming to her support. Her family members are also extending their love for the actress, and her newlywed sister-in-law, Nicole Joseph proved the same. The latter took to her Instagram story with the most adorable note on sister-in-laws, which could be read as:
“Good sisters-in-law exist, and I love mine.”
Well, Nicole’s kind words moved the Theri actress as she reshared the story. Samantha also penned a simple ‘Love you’ while tagging Nicole and included a teary-eyed emoji.

For the unversed, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya tied the knot in a lavish two-day destination wedding in 2017. However, their marriage reportedly ended on a sour note just four days before their fourth wedding anniversary in 2021. While Chaitanya has never addressed the split in public, Samantha has alluded to it not being mutual or amicable.
Earlier, in an interview with Galatta India, Samantha voiced her opinion on the treatment of women after a divorce. According to her, they were subjected to far more judgement than men. Samantha can be quoted as saying:
“Unfortunately, we live in a society which is so patriarchal in nature, that anytime something goes wrong, a woman gets subjected to… I’m not saying men don’t, men do, but a woman gets subjected to a lot more judgment and a lot more shaming, not just online, even in real life.”
The actress then discussed what had been said about her following her split from Chaitanya. She stated that several things were ‘absolutely untrue.’ She even recalled having a conversation with herself about the ‘absolute lies’ that were being spread, describing them as ‘really, really crappy.’ Samantha admitted that there had been many instances when she wanted to speak her truth. However, she eventually realised that people would talk about her no matter what she said, so she found peace in sharing her side with those close to her.
