Justine Bateman’s ‘Disaster Tourists’ Remark ‘Offend’ Meghan Markle & Prince Harry

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have responded to Justine Bateman’s recent criticism of their efforts to assist victims of the Los Angeles wildfires. A source close to the couple stated that the allegations, which suggested the couple’s involvement was a “photo op,” were “offensive.” Meghan, who was born in Los Angeles, has been deeply affected by the wildfire tragedy and is not just a “tourist,” the source emphasized. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have reportedly donated money, essential items, and dedicated countless hours to volunteering. Justine Bateman had previously labeled their efforts as “repulsive” and compared them to “ambulance chasers.” In addition to their charitable actions, Meghan postponed the release of her Netflix cookery show, With Love, Meghan, which was originally set for January 15 but will now be released on March 4.
