Allu Arjun seems to get no peace after the Pushpa 2 stampede incident took place at Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre on December 4, 2024. Now, the fresh new update is that the Telugu actor did not leave the theatre despite being told to do the same. Reportedly, he was told about the stampede-like situation which had taken place outside the theatre, where a lady named Revathi lost her life, and her 8-year-old son, Sri Tej, got critically injured.
A Hyderabad police official claims Allu Arjun did not exit the theatre despite being told about the stampede situation
A press conference on the annual round-up 2024 took place on December 22, 2024, at Hyderabad. The city police commissioner, CV Anand, showcased a clip made by the cops on the horrific situation that took place when the stampede occurred. The clip, as per an ETimes report, said that Allu Arjun was in the theatre till midnight, and a police official also commented on the sequence of the events that had taken place. He revealed that he and the other police officials had told one of Allu Arjun’s managers about the death of a lady and also said that the situation did not seem in control. The cop added that Allu Arjun’s team said they would tell the actor, but he was not informed.
The cop then added that he managed to reach Allu Arjun and told him about Revathi’s death in the stampede. He asked the actor to leave the theatre so that fans would not harm one another while trying to see their favourite star. The official also told the star that the security arrangements would be made for his exit. However, the cop claimed that Allu Arjun had said he would leave the theatre after watching the movie. The actor exited the theatre with the cop, who a senior official accompanied.
Allu Arjun’s kids whisked away from their home after attack
It was on December 22, 2024, when eight members of Osmania University vandalised the residence of Allu Arjun. They had held placards, burnt his effigy, carried out protests, and broke many plant pots. Now, his kids, Ayaan and Arha, have been whisked away, and the cops reportedly have detained the eight members who have been involved in the incident. Reportedly, when the attack took place, the actor was not at his house. Post the attack, Allu Arjun, his wife, Sneha Reddy and kids, Allu Arha and Allu Ayaan, were seen exiting the house.
Allu Arjun’s father, Allu Aravind opens up on his son’s home being vandalised
Allu Aravind had spoken to the press outside his home and said everyone had seen what happened at their house. However, it is time for them to act accordingly. He does not see this as the right time to react to anything. Allu Aravind also said:
“The police have arrested the vandalisers and filed a case against them. The police personnel are deployed near my house to take away anybody who comes here to create a ruckus. No one should encourage such incidents. It is time to practice restraint. The law will take its course.”
