Now, Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rasha Thadani is all set to make a mark in the filmy world with her debut film, Azaad, starring Ajay Devgn’s nephew, Aaman Devgan. The mother-daughter duo graced Salman Khan’s hosted show, Bigg Boss 18 for the promotion of the film.
Raveena Tandon revealed Salman Khan’s comment on her weight
The special episode was telecasted last night, and fans were left gaga seeing Salman and Raveena reunite on stage. During their hilarious interaction, Raveena got nostalgic seeing an old picture, wherein Salman had lifted her up on his back. The picture left Salman and Raveena shocked, and the actress revealed that Salman had asked her about her weight, as she was really fat back then. She said:
“Tumhara wazan kitna hai? And I was really fat at that time.”
Not only this, Salman Khan’s photo with Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rasha Thadani, was also displayed. To everyone’s surprise, Rasha looked tiny in front of Salman, as she was just three then. Rasha recalled how it was so long ago, and Salman Khan agreed to it.
Another highlight of the show was when Salman teased Rasha Thadani, by stating that he would like to call her ‘elder sister, Raveena Tandon’ on stage. He said:
“Aapki badi behen ko bula leta hu main (Let me call your elder sister). Please welcome Raveena Tandon.”

For those who don’t know, Raveena and Salman have worked in films like Andaaz Apna Apna and Patthar Ke Phool. Talking about their bond, in an interview with ETimes, Raveena revealed that she had ‘class fights’ with Salman during their younger days. She said:
“Even though when we were youngsters, probably, we had our little share of you know classroom fights. Literally, it was like classroom politics but then as we grew older, I guess, we learnt to understand each other more and we respect each other for that.”
Further Raveena revealed that they now share a good bond as they have grown older and share a mutual respect for each other. She revealed that Salman might not be with her in happy times, but he is there if a person is in trouble. She was quote as saying:
“Well, Salman and me have bonded today as we have grown older as such thick friends and there’s mutual respect and love for each other. He’s the kind you call when you’re in trouble and he’ll be there for you. He might not be there with you for your happy times but he’ll definitely be there for you in your bad times so he is that kind of a person.”
