Recently, the comedian hosted an underwater-themed birthday party for her son, and she shared some insights from the same. Dipika Kakar was also in attendance with her son, Ruhaan. For the unversed, she and Bharti Singh had previously shared a screen during their stint on Nach Baliye 8.
The comedian reminisced about those days and addressed Dipika’s recent exit from Celebrity Masterchef. Bharti revealed that she felt extremely bad about it as she knew how much Dipika loved cooking. She added that when someone leaves their favourite thing, there has to be a big reason behind it, which others might not believe. She stated:
“Nach Baliye ke baad humlog ab mile hai. We had come to your place also; I didn’t think you would have come, but thank you so much for coming. Dipika is always so busy that she even had to quit MasterChef midway due to her hand. Mujhe itna bura laga, I know how much she loves cooking. Koi jab chodhta hai na apne favourite cheez toh bohot zyada majboori hoti hai. Bohot log samajhte hai, kuch log nahi samajh jayenge.”

Bharti Singh took a walk down memory lane with her Nach Baliye 8 co-contestant, Dipika Kakar. The comedian lightheartedly joked about their time on the show and recalled how they used to stand in front of the judges for marks, but now they stand together as mothers. Dipika also got nostalgic about the old days and agreed with Bharti.

Dipika Kakar made a comeback on the television after a long break with the cooking reality show, Celebrity Masterchef. The gorgeous actress even broke down during one of the episodes and said that she wanted to represent the home cooks. Dipika has been trolled over the years for her decision to take a sabbatical, but when she returned to the screens with the show, it left her fans excited. However, due to some health concerns, she had to quit the show.
Dipika Kakar confirmed the news of her leaving the show, Celebrity Masterchef midway in a vlog earlier in February 2025. The actress shared that during the festival season on the show, when everybody was preparing to give their best shot, she suddenly started feeling pain in her shoulder. Dipika added that despite medication, the pain was still there.
