Atul Subhash’s suicide has sparked the conversation about the harassment men go through in their marriages. And how they also are forced to end their life due to the family’s constant pressure. Atul Subhash hanged himself to death in his Bengaluru home due to his estranged wife, Nikita Singhania’s cases against him and his family. Also, there was an unjust demand of Rs. 3 crore to settle the divorce case and Rs. 3 lakh condition to see the face of their son.

How Atul Subhash’s estranged wife, Nikita Singhania, was caught by the police after she ran away from her home

Before dying, Atul Subhash left a 24-page suicide letter with the title ‘Justice is due’ and a video wherein he shared the ordeal he went through at the hands of his estranged wife and her family. Soon, an FIR was filed against the accused, and police summoned the Singhania family. However, they were on a run. Meanwhile, they had applied for anticipatory bail in the matter. But one phone call by Nikita Singhania helped police catch her. 

A source close to the police shared details of the same with the IANS. They revealed that the accused had locked up their home in Uttar Pradesh’s Jaunpur the moment the Bengaluru police registered the case against them. However, the police posted the notice at Singhania’s home, and they informed them to appear within three days. 

The police team even made a list of the Singhania’s close relatives and monitored them. However, Nikita Singhania, who was the late 34-year-old Bengaluru techie’s estranged wife, made calls via WhatsApp. It made her difficult to track. However, Nikita made one call to one of her relatives, which became her mistake.

Soon, the police tracked the tower location and reached the PG, accommodating in Gurugram’s Rail Vihar. The police official detained her and asked her to make a call to her mother. When Nisha Singhania received the call, police tracked her down and took them into custody.

Men do suffer, and no matter what the world says, at times, things become so ugly that they are forced to end their lives. Atul went through the same ordeal in his last heartbreaking video, which has been going viral on the internet. Atul revealed that his wife, Nikita Singhania, demanded a sum of Rs. 3 crore to withdraw her cases against him. Frustrated by the judicial system, which is in support of women, Atul decided to end his life.

Atul Subhash’s drastic step has rekindled the debate across the country about the pressure and humiliation a man has to go through under the dowry act, which is being misused against the boy’s family. The lawyer Dinesh Mishra, who represented Atul Subhash in the family court, said that he presented a truthful account of his experience with the justice system. 

Nikita Singhani, her mother and brother have been sent to judicial custody of 14-days!
