Kajol is hailed as the ultimate Bollywood diva and one of the most talented actresses in Hindi cinema. She debuted in the film business in 1992 with her first feature movie, Bekhudi and from thereon, there has no looking back for the diva. Over the years, Kajol has worked in numerous films, commercials, and brand deals. She is quite peppy and cordial with the people she is working with. However, we have also seen her being not so pleased with the paps and lashing out at them.
Kajol justifies her rude behaviour with the paps
Kajol is currently on a promotion spree for her film, Do Patti, in which she plays a cop. During an interview with Zoom, Kajol was asked about her equation with the paps and how the number of times she has lashed out at them. To this Kajol said:
“I do get angry, I have bad days and good days—that’s me. I think that I cannot and will not sit down and edit myself time and again for somebody else’s idea of ‘she is a celebrity, and she should not lose her temper’.”
Kajol made it clear that just like any other human being, she also has bad days and doesn’t want to interact with people. On those days, she wants to avoid interacting with people. She was not angry with the paps. It is her authentic self, and she can’t edit her negative parts and pretend to be somebody else. She is just a human, and people should stop expecting her to be prim and proper just because she is a celebrity.
When Kajol rudely yelled at the paparazzi for standing in front during Durga puja
Kajol’s frustration with the shutterbugs was evident in a video that had been making rounds on the internet. She sternly asked them to move aside and let the devotees take the darshan of Maa Durga. While her intention was perfectly right and understood, it might have seemed a bit harsh as she was seen reprimanding the paparazzi, who were there in the scorching heat, dedicated to capturing their special moments.
In the clip, Kajol charged at the paps and told them that there were so many people standing behind them to take darshan. After which, her team started asking the paps to move away. Kajol said:
“People are standing behind you for anjoli. Please move aside, please side ho jaiye, peeche ho jaiye. Anjoli dene ke liye logo ko aane dijiye.”
