Cardi B recently responded after Elon Musk called her a “puppet,” sparking a sharp reaction from the rapper. The situation began when Musk shared a video of Cardi B’s speech from a Kamala Harris rally in Milwaukee, criticising it by labeling her as “another puppet.” Cardi B replied through a post, declaring, “I’m a daughter of immigrants.” During the rally, Cardi B faced a teleprompter malfunction and was handed a phone by an aide to continue her speech, a moment that quickly went viral online. Cardi B, a Grammy-winning artist known for hits like “Bodak Yellow” and “WAP,” stood her ground in the face of Musk’s critique. Meanwhile, Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, was born in South Africa to affluent parents. His father, Errol Musk, reportedly had partial ownership of a Zambian emerald mine. Musk’s privileged upbringing preceded his rise to becoming a tech billionaire.
