In an interview with Raj Shamani, Vicky Kaushal revealed his first meeting with Katrina Kaif happened at an award show, wherein they both introduced each other to themselves. The actor further stated that their relationship was meant to be, and the first time they talked was in an interview, and they had their numbers. Vicky revealed that they bumped into each other, and against all the odds, it just happened, and that is when they stopped questioning it and started analysing it, thereby becoming committed to it.

In an interview with News Tak, Vicky Kaushal was asked whether Katrina eats paranthas as she is considered to be a fitness freak. The actor stated that his wife, Katrina loves to eat the paranthas made by her mother-in-law, Veena Kaushal, while he now loves to eat pancakes.
