Surekha drew the ire of the industry after linking K.T. Rama Rao to the separation of Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya. Samantha criticised Surekha for commenting on her “personal matter,” while Naga Chaitanya labeled her remarks as “ridiculous.” A-list Telugu actors, including Chiranjeevi, Jr. NTR, Allu Arjun, and Nani, also voiced their objections to her statements. In response, Bharat Rashtra Samiti Chief K.T. Rama Rao served a legal notice to Surekha, and Nagarjuna Akkineni’s family is reportedly planning legal action against the minister.
