Actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala recently exchanged rings in a heartfelt ceremony in Hyderabad, surrounded by close family and friends. Updates from their engagement have already made waves on social media, with celebrity designer Manish Malhotra sharing numerous photos of the couple from the event on August 8.
In a recent post, Malhotra unveiled additional unseen pictures of Sobhita Dhulipala, highlighting her stunning look in a peach saree that symbolized the occasion’s auspiciousness and was inspired by the purity of the Kanakaambaram flower. The photos also showcased Naga Chaitanya, who looked dashing in a heritage-inspired Nischitaardham suit by Malhotra. The ensemble, crafted from ivory brocade and muted gold tussar silk, featured a laalchi, kanduva, and an intricately embellished dhoti, blending Andhra Pradesh’s cultural richness with antique gold dori work.
At their engagement ceremony, Sobhita wore a custom Uppada silk saree in golden blush, reflecting her heritage with inspirations from Padmam and Kanakaambaram. Naga Chaitanya complemented her look with a traditional Pattu pancha set, also by Malhotra, showcasing the craftsmanship of Andhra Pradesh. The couple, who had been dating for two years and often spotted on vacations together, kept their relationship private until their engagement news leaked late Wednesday night. Following this, Nagarjuna shared photos from the ceremony on X (formerly Twitter).
