Therein, the host congratulated Abhishek on his long and beautiful marriage to Aishwarya Rai. The host praised Abhishek for having been with Aishwarya for 15 years. All of a sudden, Nimrat quipped:
“Marriage don’t last that long.”
Abhishek was puzzled by the comment and looked at Nimrat questioningly. Nimrat laughed and gestured that the comment was made on a lighter note with no deeper meaning or insult. The host then continued with his question, but the comment left a great impact, given the present circumstance.

In this video, the actor’s words of admiration for his wife’s exceptional qualities and he also admitted that he admires her a lot. He credited Aishwarya for his family’s good fortune.
Abhishek called Aishwarya his emotional support and added that the actress had overcome some of the most challenging phases in her life with the utmost grace. Abhishek mentioned that actors are emotional, and they often get overwhelmed with the outside world, and then that person explodes, but Aishwarya has always maintained her calm demeanour. An excerpt from Abhishek’s interview could be read as:
“I really admire that about her. Actors are emotional people, we’re very, very hyper-sensitive. and there are times when we might just want to lash out and we kind of explode. You can only take so much. I’ve never seen her do that.”
