Ranbir Kapoor being a dad to Raha is the sweetest thing to witness and there’s no second thought about the fact. Ranbir and Alia got married back in 2022, and in the same year, they welcomed their baby girl, Raha, into their lives. The little munchkin has already won hearts with her cutesy antics and the way she cutely blows away kisses whenever she spots paps. Well, Raha’s bua, Riddhima, recently talked about the little one’s bond with her father, Ranbir Kapoor.
Riddhima Kapoor reveals Ranbir Kapoor’s equation with his baby girl, Raha
While talking to the Bombay Times, Riddhima Kapoor recently shared that Ranbir’s eyes just light up whenever he sees Raha. The gorgeousness further added that maybe he’s not very expressive in front of everybody like her and their father, Rishi Kapoor, but he’s much more expressive when he’s with Raha, or he’s near the camera. In Riddhima’s words:
“Ranbir’s eyes light up when he sees Raha. Maybe he’s not as expressive as my father or me, but he is the most expressive when he is in front of the camera and now when he is with Raha. Otherwise, he keeps to himself.”
Riddhima Kapoor shares how her relationship with Ranbir evolved over the years
In the same interview, Riddhima Kapoor shared that her bond with Ranbir Kapoor has evolved with time. Riddhima went back to her childhood days with Ranbir and stated that he would think that she is his elder brother and would try all the wrestling moves on her, which over the years have evolved. Riddhima added that her brother is a kind-hearted, soft person who is a good listener, with whom anyone can talk easily and share their problems. Riddhima Kapoor can be quoted as saying:
“He would think I’m his older brother and try all his wrestling moves on me. Over the years, of course, that changed. Ranbir is soft-hearted and genuinely a good person. He’s someone you can talk to, confide in and share your problems with. He’s a good listener.”
Raha Kapoor’s cutesy antics won hearts
It was during Christmas 2024 when Raha Kapoor made an appearance with her parents, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. To everyone’s surprise, little Raha was seen waving and saying, “Hi, Merry Christmas”. Not only this, but also, while going back, Raha was seen saying bye-bye to the paps while blowing flying kisses at them, which left everyone in awe. Before Raha met the paps, her mom, Alia, requested the paps to shout less as her baby girl was a bit scared. She was seen making a gesture by keeping her finger on her lips, well, Raha, later also repeated the same.
After the same, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir were spotted with Raha at the airport as they jetted off for their New Year’s vacation. The paps were seen saying ‘bye’ to Raha, and she, from her mother’s arms, moved and cutely said, “Hi,” following some sweet flying kisses to the photographers.
Ranbir Kapoor has quit smoking after Raha was born
Ranbir is a caring father, and there’s no second thought about the same. In a podcast with Nikhil Kamath, Ranbir Kapoor revealed that he wants to opt for a healthy lifestyle, which he couldn’t do earlier. He added that he started smoking at the age of 17, but he quit after Raha was born. After becoming a father, he realised how unhealthy he had become.
