Actress, producer, and columnist, Raveena Tandon found herself in the news headlines in June 2024 for an absolutely terrifying reason. She had been the victim of a violent mob attack outside her very own house in Khar, Mumbai. However, it seems that she wasn’t the only one to suffer such an attack. Recently, Raveena came forward with the information that actress, Richa Chadha had experienced a similar incident the very next day. But unfortunately, she could not file an official police report due to a lack of proof.
Raveena Tandon reveals that Richa Chadha and other celebs are being targeted by pre-planned mob attacks
In a recent interview with NewsX Live, Raveena Tandon recalled the terrifying mob attack she faced back in June. Not only did she reveal updates about her own case, but she also shared that actress, Richa Chadha had gone through a similar experience just a day after Raveena’s attack. In her words:
“Unfortunately, this has been going on in Mumbai, which is a planned kind of a thing. This is only to scare celebs.”
Raveena told NewsX Live that the day after her attack, Richa had called her. The Heeramandi actress had told her that she, too, had been attacked by a mob. Unfortunately, Richa was unable to file an official report regarding the incident due to a lack of evidence. Raveena said:
“There were no CCTV cameras to record the truth. In fact, she had to pay up. She had to settle the matter. The cops told her to settle it.”

Raveena then shared some updates regarding her own mob attack case. According to the actress, the police had concluded that the attack was pre-planned in order to extort money from her. Raveena elaborated on how scary the incident was, and said:
“I remember, the mob was so aggressive. They were entering my house. My children were upstairs at home. My husband wasn’t at home. Jo mere male members of staff dikh rahe the unko, wo kheech ke maar rahe the unko.”

A video of the mob attack back in June went viral in the same month. In it, a man could be heard accusing Raveena and her driver of allegedly assaulting his mother. The actress could also be seen in the video, as she pleaded with the mob not to hit her and tried to stop them.
Reportedly, the mob attack got violent, as people started pulling Raveena’s hair and even slapped her. The police then got involved, and the matter was settled. It is worth noting that the cops also gave Raveena a clean chit.
