Sohail Khan’s former wife, Seema Sajdeh, has been very vocal about her separation. In the latest series of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives on Netflix, Seema spoke about her divorce from Sohail with her elder son, Nirvan. She revealed that her younger son, Yohan, had Googled the word ‘divorce’ meaning because he was unaware of it. The episode highlighted that a young Yohan could not comprehend the concept of separation between his parents. He had to resort to Google to understand the meaning of the same.
Seema Sajdeh revealed her son, Yohan did not like her shifting after her separation with Sohail Khan
Seema Sajdeh had discussed the challenges her younger son, Yohan faced with her elder son Nirvan. She revealed that Yohan, who was 13, could not accept the fact that his mother would shift from Bandra to Worli. His friends were in Bandra, so relocation became tough for the young kid. Yohan used to spend most of the time at his dad Sohail Khan’s home so that he could stay close to his social circle. Nirvan elaborated on his younger brother’s reaction and highlighted his difficulty amid the new family equation. He said:
“Your divorce was out publicly. And it happened at a time when he (Yohan) probably didn’t even know the term ‘divorce’. So, while it’s happening, he is probably learning everything. I have seen him, he used to search up the definition of divorce and what it is, it’s all very new to him.”
Nirvan opened up about the eerie distance in his family
Nirvan explained to Seema that Yohan’s life was in Bandra. This was because all his friends stayed there and his life has been in Bandra. Taking support of his brother, Nirvan added:
“He was born in that house. We grew up in that house. Ultimately, you want your friends around, your family around. Now that you have moved to Worli, it becomes tough for us to migrate here to there. You have probably seen We don’t see you as often. You were more accessible to us then.”

Seema Sajdeh married Sohail Khan in 1998 , but the pair opted for separation in 2022. During an earlier conversation with Shivani Pau on her podcast show, the designer revealed the reason behind divorcing the actor. There were rumors that Seema had chosen because of some other women in Sohail’s life. However, that was not the truth. Seema said:
“When two people are in a situation where both of them are not happy, when there is constant fighting, the fallout is always the kids. You don’t realize that in that phase of your life, time passes so quickly, kids grow up quickly, and you don’t realize when you have done damaged to the kids. So, it was a conscious decision for him.”
It has been many years since Seema Sajdeh and Sohail Khan started living separately. What are your views about this former couple?
