Karan Veer Mehra has always kept details related to his divorce life private. The actor was married to his childhood love, Devika, for 9 years. They tied the knot in 2009. A report by The Times revealed that the actor had unsuccessful marriages, even in the past. However, he once spoke about how his marriage had to pay a price because of stardom. He said:
“A childhood friendship of 10 years and another eight years of marriage could not withstand the blitz of the glamor world. As my career grew, she also chose to become a part of this charismatic world, and soon we began to drift apart, and it was the beginning of the end.”
When Karan Veer Mehra felt he was not on his wife’s priority list
The actor opted for separation from Devika in 2018. He had started to feel that he was not on her priority list. Their equation changed, and the duo felt disconnected. The actor also confessed to being linked to his co-stars and had spoken about the disadvantage of being successful. He said:
“Consequently, our equations changed and I got linked to actresses, actors and creative producers, and it was the beginning of the end. The flip side of this early success was that I became reckless — reckless enough to take a serious step like marriage without any thought. I decided on marriage within a day and she also agreed, though we had fought just the previous evening.”

The actor had not found peace with Devika . After separating from her in 2018, he married Nidhi Seth in 2021 and separated from her again in 2023. Nidhi had then been to Bengaluru to pursue her dream of becoming an interior designer. Earlier, during an interview with ETimes TV, Nidhi said:
“When I realized things weren’t working out, I decided to leave. Unfortunately, there isn’t enough understanding in this world regarding specific personality traits and behaviors that might harm relationships.”
