Your Choice! | SATYAMSHOT

Recently posted an Academy post asking “If you could only watch three movies for the rest of your life, which would you choose?” . There were responses and people were naming more than 3. So wanted to expand the idea.

Rules:

1. Category -1, Name at most 10 movies – Foreign languages, for example: English, Spanish, Korean…

2. Category – 2. Name at most 10 movies – Indian languages, for example: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali…

3. Category – 3. Name at most 10 TV series (multiple seasons and or episodes ) – any language, for example: Rocket Boys, Kabhi Saas bhi Bahu, GoT, X-Files, Breaking Bad …

4.The Namesake (English and Bengali) or Slumdog millionaire falls in #1

5. You cannot name more than 10 entries in each category. You can have less than 10.

6. One movie is one release. Subsequent movie is a different release.

7. Post your comment as lead comment (left most). If you want to change your choice or ranking, please do so in sub-comment of lead comment. If you post it in someone else’s lead comment or elsewhere in thread, it will be not counted.

8. At end of this year, we (Jay or me) will tabulate the results and post the Top 10 or Top 5 depending upon number of votes and it is significant.

9. tabulation: #1 will get 10 points…. #10 will get 1 point. Highest points is #1 in the category.

10. If the thread become significant (there are enough responses), it will be part of left side bar.

11. Commentators can discuss their or commentators’ choices (as a new lead comment rather than messing someone choices) or in weekly box office thread.

12. other rules of discussion civility applies here as well!

13. Rules may be updated based on feedback in this thread, but broad rules are not going to change
